BACK TO SCHOOL TOURNAMENT...September 16, 2017

Registration time: 9:30 to 10 a.m./3415 Bardstown Road

This is the first of the 3 West Louisville  Chess League tournaments in 2017. This is for K/5 and K/6 teams. The entry fee is 20 dollars per student. Concessions sold. Quads, round robin, 3 rounds, G/30 with a 5 second time delay on the clock. 1st place in each quad earns a medal. Every student with a perfect score (3 victories) earns a five dollar gift card.

GREATER LOUISVILLE NATIONAL CHESS DAY TOURNAMENT...October 14, 2017

THE URBAN BLITZ CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP

Registration time: 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m./3415 Bardstown Road

This is a 3 tournament series. The top 2 point winners after the 3rd tournament each win a trophy or a plaque. The tournaments take place on September 16, October 14 and November 18, at 3415 Bardstown Road. The entry fee is ten dollars. Based on 4 paid in full entry fees in a quad, the winner (and only the first place winner) receives a cash prize...$25 dollars. These are quads (4), DOUBLE round robin (6 games), G/5 with no time delay. The entry fee is ten dollars. ALL SKILL LEVELS CAN PARTICIPATE. THE SECTIONS WILL BE K/6, Middle school grades, High school grades and adults.
